These achievements are more than just personal milestones—they are a reflection of the mission of Milwaukee Speed Academy: to develop athletes of character, discipline, and elite performance. Coaches, teammates, and families have played an essential role in each athlete’s journey, and we couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve accomplished.
Three Milwaukee Speed Academy Athletes Make History at State Track Championships
Milwaukee Speed Academy is proud to celebrate a historic moment as three of our outstanding athletes shattered state records at the Wisconsin State Track and Field Championships. Their performances not only demonstrate exceptional individual talent but also highlight the strength of our training, determination, and community support.
Jay Tally – 800m State Record Holder
Jay Tally delivered a jaw-dropping performance in the 800-meter run, crossing the finish line with a blazing time of 1:51.21 to break the previous state record. Known for his relentless drive and smooth pacing, Jay’s record-setting run was the result of months of hard work and strategic training. His performance has set a new standard for middle-distance running in the state and has inspired young athletes across Wisconsin.
Analena Peterson – 200m Sprint Champion
Sprinter Analena Peterson stunned the crowd with a lightning-fast time of 24.19 in the 200-meter dash, rewriting the record books and cementing her status as one of the fastest high school sprinters in Wisconsin history. Analena’s explosive speed, technical precision, and fierce competitive spirit were on full display as she powered through the curve and surged ahead of the competition.
Niyer Clayborn – 110m Hurdles State Record Breaker
Niyer Clayborn made his mark in the 110-meter hurdles with an extraordinary time of 13.92, breaking the state record with a combination of speed, agility, and flawless hurdle technique. His record-breaking race was a testament to his discipline and dedication, and it reflects the high standard of coaching and athlete development at Milwaukee Speed Academy.

In 2024, our boys sprinters Nolan Anderson, Mason Kelley, Landon Gallun, and Kevin Johnikin competed at the Louisville Indoor Games in Kentucky. They broke the Wisconsin state indoor record, running a time of 1:26.83.
